PQ Ski Team :: Trip Information

PQFI MISSION: “OPERATION DOMINATION” - Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada
Mission Objective: Complete and Total Mountain domination

At approximately 0600 hours on the morning of March 18th we begin Operation Domination. This mission will take us deep into the heart of Canadian occupied territory, to the center of the ski rebellion. Our destination is Mont-Tremblant, an eastern Canadian winter giant, hidden deep within the Laurentian Mountains in the Province of Quebec.

We will launch from two fronts on this mission: Echo Glen Base and Thorpe Village. The teams will rendezvous in Albany, and then proceed north towards the US/Canada border in standard two-by-two cover formation. Along the way, teams will maintain radio communication for logistics updates, weather advisories, traffic issues and to coordinate food/gas/rest stops.

At the border, team members will show proper identification, remaining silent yet vigilant about their PQFI affiliation. Once the border is breached we will have the traditional bathroom stop then make the final push to our destination. This final section takes us through the bustling metropolis of Montreal and on into the mystic Laurentian Mountains.

Barring incident, the team will arrive in Mont-Tremblant around mid-afternoon. The trip should take anywhere between 7 and 8 hours depending on speed, efficiency and driving skill.

We will then head directly to the Place St. Bernard hotel and begin the check-in process. After check-in, we will assimilate into the Quebecois ski society and assume our on-mountain personas. The first team debrief will take place at Casey’s Bar and Grill, over hot wings and fine local brews.

Remember to stay focused; we don’t want to peak too early.

This mission should be a huge success. Let the games….begin!!
