Project Bullseye

As my first "real" blog entry, we will be keeping a running diary of the weightloss competition between myself and Mr. Pete. For the benefit of those of you who may have been dominating the slopes in Italy at the time of this wager, Mr. Pete and I made a bet to see who could lose more weight (as a percentage of body weight loss, not actual pounds) before Operation Domination in March. The bet begins tomorrow morning (January 28th) and runs until the morning of departure for Tremblant. The person who loses the most weight will win:

An all expense paid "metric lunch" at La Diable and...
An all expense paid dinner at Bullseye Grill

And that folks, is why I am calling this "Project Bullseye"*. Enjoy the magic as it happens all winter long on pqskiteam.com!

* - Name subject to change if Mr. Pete absolutely hates it. "Project Bullseye" is not approved by nor is it affiliated with Bullseye Grill, La Diable, or Intrawest.

  • I will dominate Jim in this bet like Tom's mom dominates a schlong.

  • Oh be real. No one can dominate something that much. BTW, look at the stats son. You're already down. Sucka.

  • Oh but I will. Enjoy your short lived lead.

By Blogger Pete Thorpe, At 11:59 AM

  • You mean, my short lived lead that is currently growing larger (or maybe that should read "smaller") by the day?

By Blogger JV, At 8:59 AM

  • Does this mean that neither of you will be drinking or eating wings, sausages, et all in March in PQ??

By Blogger Tomas_Volant, At 9:53 AM

  • NO TOM! Nothing could be farther from the truth. The bet ENDS on the morning of the trip. I will be dominating McDonald's breakfast, wings, beers, and Extreme with the best of them (that would be you guys). As will Pete. Our stomachs maybe be a bit smaller which would make consuming large quantities more difficult, but that's another thing entirely.

  • Pete, I would like you to notice the lead I am currently building. In fact, I was able to tighten my belt a notch this morning. Let me know when you can see your penis again. Okay, tough guy?

By Blogger JV, At 10:14 AM

  • Wow.

Uh Jim, why do you need to know about the visibility of Pete's wang?? Is there more to Operation Bullseye than we're lead to believe?

  • I've been saving my updates for a more weekly timing.

I too have been able to already tighten the belt one loop. And if I bother to look down, the top of your Mom's head is always in the way.

  • Thorpe, a 12 foot extension cord is not a belt. I'm not sure how you are loosening it.

I hope your update is good tomorrow. I really do. It would be nice to have some competition in this thing for once.

  • Jim,

Perhaps you could write a blog entry on the history of "The Metric Lunch"; its origins, activities, etc.

    Take it away Jim.

By Blogger Tomas_Volant, At 10:14 AM

  • Thank you Tom.

  • I was running late this morning and didn't weigh in.

My unofficial weight last night was 256. I'm expecting to crack down into the 240's by the end of next week and then really start to drop the lbs.

Like I said, I'll start slow due to gaining muscle and then as I head downhill I'll be rolling over Jim like a giant stone over Indiana Jones.
